Ladies Rules

This is one of Hen Party Games all time favorites – owing mostly to it’s simplicity, and the fact you can adapt it to fit almost any situation.

We’ll concentrate on the drinking aspect, but this can be used in many other scenarios where a left or right hand side is used (for example, eating with a knife and fork, resting an arm on a table, making a call on a phone etc.).

The Game comes in 2 parts – the first is breaking the ‘Ladies Rules’, and the second is being caught. Both parts are needed to lose the game.

  1. Set a rule around the Hen Party that anyone drinking has to hold the drink in their left hand (or right hand if they’re left handed)

  2. If you see anyone drinking from the wrong hand – nudge them and say ‘Ladies Rules’

  3. If anyone is caught holding or drinking from the wrong hand – they need to drink an agreed amount (we normally say 2 fingers worth!)

This normally begins to get quite uncomfortable after a couple of hours playing – so its best to start this one early while the Hen Party are still able to tell their left from their right – and stand a chance in getting it right!
