Never Have I Ever
A classic and well known Hen Party Game – perfect if you need a few extra games to play on the night, but want one with minimal preparation work needed! There are a few variations of this game – we’ll explain them all below:
Never Have I Ever – Standard Version
-
Sit the group in a circle so that everyone has vision of each other.
-
Ask everyone to hold up 10 fingers (alternatively – you could hand out 10 matches or cards – something to enable everyone to keep a score!).
-
Starting with the Hen – she has to share something she has ‘never done’.
-
Anyone in the group that HAS done the thing the Hen say’s she’s never done – has to put one finger down.
-
If nobody in the group has done the thing mentioned – that the person that said it loses the round and puts a finger down.
-
The game then moves to the next person in the circle. We usually work by going clockwise.
-
The winner of the game is the last person with fingers remaining up.
Never Have I Ever – Drinking Version
-
Again, sit the group in a circle so that everyone has vision of each other.
-
Rather than using 10 fingers – make sure everyone has a full drink in front of them. It has to be the same drink – and has to be in the same size glass to be fair (the perfect game to start after getting a round from the bar – a round of cocktails maybe!!).
-
Follow the rules above by going round the group saying ‘I have never…’ followed by something you’ve never done.
-
Anyone that has done what was mentioned has to drink 2 ‘fingers’ worth of drink (measured by putting 2 fingers horizontally besides the glass at the current drink level – and drinking until you’re below the second finger level).
-
If no one drinks – the person that said the ‘I have never…’ has to drink 2 fingers of their drink.
-
The winner is the last person with a drink left!
Never Have I Ever – Endless Drinking Version
-
Very similar to the above 2 games – but rather than the winner being the person with the most fingers/drink left – the aim of the game is to get everyone drunk before yourself.
-
The game ends when everyone on the Hen Party is too drunk to continue!
This Hen Party Game works on so many levels – as it fits in with a Wild Hen Party, as well as a quiet Hen Party at Home. It’s also a great one to play if you want to know some gossip and get to know the group better. It’s a great way to give everyone a laugh!
